About natif

I'm Tom, a digital designer from a family of self-employed business owners. I care about making technology work for everyone, in plain language.

A trained journalist with the Press Association, I worked in newspapers before becoming a digital publisher at Reach, one of the UK's largest news networks. I then moved into communications, working in sport, charities, local government and finance, designing digital solutions to engage people.

Before starting natif, I oversaw a full site rebuild at The Property Ombudsman — a not-for-profit dispute resolution service — to support renters, homeowners and businesses in getting a fair deal on housing.

Ethical, sustainable living matters to me: planet-friendly hosting, and secure solutions that don't track you or sell your data.

Drop me a line to talk about how we can help you reach your goals.

How we work

  • Plain languageIf a customer can't understand something, they're unlikely to want a product or service. We cut through the tech-speak so you can achieve your goals.
  • Transparent, flat pricingYou know the cost before work starts. No surprise invoices.
  • Accessible by designWebsites built to be properly accessible from the outset, not as an afterthought.
  • Soften our impact on the planetThe internet needs a lot of energy and water. We choose suppliers who run on renewable energy, reduce water consumption and offset emissions.
